SureChar Cooker Additive

Estuary Oils are proud to announce their newly designed specialist fuel additive for use in our domestic range-style cooker and boilers, as well as vaporising burners using kerosene. It is formulated to improve the ‘burn quality of the fuel.

We have found that domestic kerosene regularly does not match up to the Char Values that it has the potential to reach. Though it can reach an upper limit of 20mg/kg, many fuels we tested in the field were reaching anywhere between 16-30mg/kg.

The use of our SureChar additive lowers the Char Value of your kerosene, allowing it to burn cleaner and for longer. This reduces carbon build-up in your boiler or range, improves the performance and increases controllability of your heat.

Each 200ml bottle treats 1,000 litres of heating oil.

Ecotherm Premium Blue

The additive pack comprises of several components to tackle a wide range of common problems with standard domestic heating oil. These include the corrosion of metal storage tanks and associated pipework, fuel degradation, the adverse effects of fuel interaction with copper containing fittings and pipework and the build-up of deposits in storage tanks. With the Estuary Premium Heating Oil Additives all of these problems are guarded against.

Estuary Gas Oil Extra

Estuary Gas Oil Extra allows you to run your modern diesel engines calibrated on EN590 DERV on red diesel, using an innovative gas oil additive which also compensates for some of the detrimental effects of a higher FAME content e.g. tendency for water pick-up. The product will additionally enhance the performance of older vehicles.

The latest gas oil specifications, particularly the increase in the allowable FAME (biodiesel) content and the reduction in sulphur content, can cause negative effects when used in older engines and machinery. However, our Estuary additive counters these negative effects and allows you to use red diesel safely in your agricultural and horticultural machinery, construction equipment, airport vehicles and fork lift trucks.

Many engine manufacturers now recommend the use of upgrade additives when red/green diesel is used, and as our product is formulated from recognised fuel additive components and should not void an engine manufacturer’s warranty.

Estuary Gas Oil Extra is added to fuel at the rate of 1 litre of additive to 3,000 litres of fuel.

Estuary Diesel Power Restorer

Estuary Oils are pleased to introduce a specially formulated fuel additive to bring fuel flow and engine power back to optimum levels quickly. The additive is designed for use in diesel engines, and works by breaking down and dispersing hard lacquers and internal diesel injector deposits (IDID).

Modern diesel engines use highly precise injection technology to help deliver optimum driving performance efficiently and with reduced emissions. Over time, deposits can build up in diesel fuel injection systems - reducing engine power, especially in the presence if biodiesel components. The deposits can be very thin layers of lacquer or metal salts stuck tenaciously to critical engine parts that restrict fuel flow.

Symptoms of such problems include noticeable reduction in power, engine misfires at idle and power surges.

The additive is used ‘online on a running engine and is typically added as part of a routine service.
